Halong Bay

As a travel – loving blogger, my 2 – day 1 – night stay on the Rosa Cruise in Halong Bay was a dreamy adventure.

Selecting Rosa Cruise

Prior to the trip, I spent sometime looking at different cruise providers, and eventually I picked Rosa Cruise because it is one of the five star cruises. The design of the cruise room seems nice / traditional Vietnamese, and the cruise operator also provides me transportation to & from the hotel / airport (with a little bit on additional cost).

Arriving at Halong Bay, Rosa Cruise, with its blend of modern and traditional Vietnamese design, immediately caught my eye. Boarding it, I was filled with excitement for the journey ahead. My stateroom was a comfortable space. The soft – bed and well – equipped bathroom made me feel right at home.

A Feast for the Eyes

Once the cruise set sail, the beauty of Halong Bay was on full display. This is one of the things I like the most about this journey, with all the mountains situated on the water, forming a beautiful sight in front of my eyes. The karst formations rising from the green waters, against the backdrop of a clear blue sky, were breathtaking.

Activities Galore on Board

There were various activities on the ship. I joined a cooking class to learn Vietnamese cuisine and a tai chi session on the deck. I also did kayaking and took a boat trip to the nearby cave. Talking with passengers from different places was also a great part of the trip. When the sun set, the ship’s lights created a warm atmosphere. I spent the night on the deck, enjoying the stars and the sound of the waves.

Capturing the Moments: The Drone Video

I used a drone to film the cruise and the bay. Despite some challenges like wind, the footage I got was amazing, showing the bay and the ship from a unique angle.

Travel Tips for Future Cruisers

For those planning a similar trip, book tickets early, pack light with essentials like sunscreen, and don’t miss exploring the bay by kayak. I also recommend checking out other cruises in places like Milford Sound or the Norwegian Fjords.
